On Tuesday July 17, 2007 Michael Vick was indicted by the federal government on charges of conspiracy related to running a dog fighting operation. Vick was one of four defendants named in the case and is accused of buying and training pitbulls, transporting dogs across state lines to illegally participate in dog fights, and gambling on these dogfights. Michael Vick is currently quarterback for the Atlanta Falcons.
